Trigg County School Superintendent Dr. Rex Booth says it didn’t take long to make the decision Tuesday morning to cancel school.
Booth says the best time to make the decision about school closing is the night before, but noted that is not always possible.
Booth says all parts of Trigg County are checked before a decision to close school is made.
He thanked the City of Cadiz for some extra assistance Tuesday morning.
As the result of the school closure, Trigg County students utilized the first of 10 NTI or Non-Traditional Instruction days for this school year.
