A house on Pembroke Road was found on fire as law enforcement arrived to serve an emergency protective order on Sunday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they went to a home on Pembroke Road near the intersection of Eagle Way to serve an emergency protective order and found the house on fire.
The woman who deputies were reportedly serving the emergency protective order on showed up while they were there and stated she had not been at the home since the night before.
Hopkinsville Firefighters say the home was just a foundation when they arrived, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The home is located down a long driveway and is not visible from Pembroke Road.
