A Clarksville man was flown to the hospital after his car collided with a horse in Fairview Saturday morning.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say at 1:53 am, they were called for a car that was westbound when it collided with a horse in the roadway, causing the vehicle to cross the median and run off the road into a tree line.
The driver was extricated from his vehicle and then flown to a Nashville hospital due to his injuries.
An off-duty Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy found the crash along with the horse deceased in the roadway and quickly blocked off the road to avoid any other crashes.
Deputies were assisted by Todd County EMS, Fairview Fire Department, and Todd County Rescue. The crash happened near the intersection of Britmart Road.
