The Silo Event Center in Hopkinsville has officially entered a new era of ownership, with local entrepreneur Frank Giles acquiring the well-known wedding and event venue.
Giles, who also works with Hughart, Beard & Giles, said he is proud to take ownership of such a long-standing business in the community and plans to continue the tradition of quality service for which The Silo is known.
He emphasized that the venue’s experienced staff will remain in place and that all existing bookings will move forward without interruption, and that guests should begin to see more of him at the venue as operations seamlessly continue.
Former owner Maria Bolinger, who founded The Silo a decade ago, is working closely with Giles to ensure a smooth transition. Bolinger said the decision to sell the business was “bittersweet” after 10 years of building it into one of the region’s premier event destinations.
She also expressed confidence in Giles’ leadership, noting she’s happy to have found an owner who shares our commitment to this community and the same high standard of service and customer experience.
Bolinger Real Estate & Auction will continue to operate at the shared address, 110 John Rives Road.
The Silo Event Center sits on 10.5 acres and offers both indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate up to 400 guests for weddings, receptions, corporate events, and more. Additional information is available at thesiloevents.com.
