Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel is sharing more details about a box received by a Hopkinsville woman Wednesday night that contained human arms and fingers instead of needed medicine.
Daniel says he was shocked when he received the call.
Daniel says there no indication the box contained anything other than the lady’s medication.
He says it is not unusual for items such as this to be shipped.
Daniel says the box contained six body parts.
He says he has talked with the courier who is scheduled to pick up the box and get it to the proper destination.
As far as the needed medication is concerned, Daniel says arrangements have been made to ensure the woman receives the medicine she needs.
Daniel said he had no information on where the box was headed or what type of research was going to be completed using the fingers and arms.
