A woman was delivered the wrong package containing body parts instead of the medicine she ordered on Wednesday night.
Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel says arms and fingers were accidentally delivered to a home in Hopkinsville instead of the medicine that was supposed to be delivered.
Daniel says the incident is believed to involve an airline company, a freight company, and a courier.
The body parts were taken by Daniel to the morgue to be given back to the carrier for its delivery to the right location.
Daniel says body parts are sometimes shipped for transplants and research purposes, but it’s unknown what this shipment is being used for.
