Two men were charged with shoplifting at Walmart on Clinic Drive and drug possession on Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 62-year-old Larry Morrison and 47-year-old Carlos Crenshaw after Morrison grabbed and put on some clothes, then, with the help of Crenshaw, put meat products in his pants.
The men were reportedly stopped in the parking lot and found with the stolen items, along with a large bag of synthetic drugs and a small bag of cocaine.
Morrison had been given a trespass warning for Walmart in August of 2022. Crenshaw was arrested and charged with complicity to theft by unlawful taking, possession of cocaine, and trafficking synthetic drugs.
Morrison was also arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and possession of synthetic drugs.
