Prizer Point Marina and Resort Kentucky Lakes KOA is celebrating 25 years as a family-focused destination on Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake.
To mark the 25th anniversary, the resort will hold a special event October 9–13, offering $25-per-night camping until sites are filled. The Batts family says the celebration is a way to thank guests for supporting their dream over the years.
Lisa and Greg Batts opened the resort in October 2000 with a goal of raising their family close to nature while creating a place where others could enjoy the outdoors together.
Their vision has since grown into a well-known stop for vacations, reunions, and lakeside getaways.
The Batts family built the resort from the ground up, enduring floods, storms, and setbacks along the way. Over time, Prizer Point expanded to include splash pools, playgrounds, floating cabins, and other attractions that bring visitors back year after year.
More than just a resort, Prizer Point has also become a community hub. Many local teens started their first jobs there, and generations of families continue to return, making it part of their traditions.
As Prizer Point looks to the future, its mission remains focused on creating a welcoming space where families can make lasting memories.
