A Hopkinsville man has been charged after a report of a robbery and shots being fired on Charlie Court in Hopkinsville on Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 22-year-old Taquavion Coleman and a second man got into an argument with a third man, took the third man’s gun, and when he tried to run away, they shot at him, hitting an apartment window.
The victim, who was also the victim of a second robbery this month at the same apartment complex, was not injured in the shooting.
Police say they located Coleman, who fits the description of one of the suspects, running on Country Club Lane, and took him into custody.
Coleman is charged with first-degree robbery, possession of marijuana, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance second offense.
