40 Years Later: Eternal Flame to Honor Gander Crash Victims in Hopkinsville

This year marks 40 years since the tragic Gander crash that claimed the lives of 248 soldiers from Fort Campbell. In Hopkinsville, the community is coming together to honor their memory with a renewed tribute.

At the center of the effort is a new monument—one that organizers say will serve as a lasting symbol of sacrifice.

Artist Isaiah Pride, whose companies, Wicked Kolors and Dad’s House Inc, are donating their labor shares the vision.
