Students at Christian County High School began the school year Monday with a mix of excitement and nostalgia, knowing it would be the last year they walk the halls of their current building.
The high school is set to merge with Hopkinsville High next year into a new combined facility, making this fall the final “first day” on the long-standing campus.
Principal Megan Kem says they wanted to make the milestone memorable.
