Chambers And Turner Honored at Leadership Announcement

As the Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian County program prepares to start another year of exploring everything the county has to offer, the Leadership Committee is honoring two community leaders. Committee Chair, Lucas Stagner says the Leadership in Action winner is involved in numerous boards and committees outside of her recent retirement from Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority.

Nikki Chambers is currently president of Hopkinsville Kiwanis and the League of Women Voters and past chair of the Chamber Board and Human Rights Commission as well as serving on the Dyslexia Association Board, the Youth Leadership Board, and the Leadership Hopkinsville board.

Stagner also presented the Legacy of Leadership award.

The award was presented to Charles Turner.

The night also included an introduction of the 2025-2026 Leadership Class, which consists of 25 individuals who are a mix of native and transplant Christian Countians.
