Christian County Schools Names Three Permanent Principals for 2025–2026

Christian County Public Schools has announced that three school leaders who were serving as interim principals will now take on those roles permanently, starting with the 2025–2026 school year.

According to school officials, Renikka Owens has officially been named the principal of Hopkinsville High School. Tyler Stallons will serve as principal at Millbrooke Elementary, and Megan Kem has been appointed principal of Christian County High School.

The appointments were made by each school’s Site-Based Decision Making Council following meetings with Superintendent Chris Bentzel. Each council unanimously supported Bentzel’s recommendations to hire Kem, Owens, and Stallons as principals.

In a written statement, Bentzel said they are proud to officially welcome these three outstanding leaders into their permanent roles. He noted that their hard work, vision, and care for students and staff have made a lasting impact, and they are excited to see what they will accomplish moving forward.
