Candace Hernandez was at Panera Bread in Hopkinsville this week, raising money for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, an event she participates in every year.
Hernandez says the walk is about more than just raising money.
She says her reason for walking is personal.
For the first time, Hernandez partnered with Panera to host a fundraiser — where a portion of sales went back to her walk team.
She says she’s grateful for every bit of support she’s received.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Hopkinsville is set for the last Saturday in September at the Christian County Justice Center.
