Wednesday Crash on North Main Injures Two

A two-vehicle collision on North Main Street at the intersection of Glass Avenue on Wednesday afternoon injured two people.

Hopkinsville Police say 58-year-old Kimberly Hardy of Cerulean was traveling south on North Main and collided with 31-year-old Amber Diehl of Hopkinsville, who was turning onto Glass Avenue.

Both drivers told police they had a green light, although the police report says city camera footage supported Diehl’s version of events.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries in the crash that occurred around 1:30
