Betty Sue Stewart, age 78, of Hopkinsville, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the funeral home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on August 19, 1946, the daughter of the late Ewin Pete Pendleton and Edith Simpson Jones. Betty worked in the accounting department for H&R Agri-Power. She was a member of Westwood Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Joseph “Jody” Stewart, Jr., son-in-law, William Wade; her brother, James Pendleton; her sisters, Dorothy Corley, Brenda Dossett, and Linda Render.
Survivors include her daughter, Regina Wade of Hopkinsville; her niece, Pam Craft of Florida; and her nephew, Brandon Craft of Florida.
