An Ashland City, Tennessee man was charged after he fled from law enforcement in a stolen vehicle in Oak Grove Saturday night.
Oak Grove Police say they attempted to stop a truck that had been reported stolen in Dickson, Tennessee, on Kentucky 115 and the driver, 33-year-old Samuel Barnes fled, getting on to Interstate 24 traveling into Tennessee.
Police say the truck then got off the interstate onto Trenton Road and traveled into Todd County before going through Pembroke and hitting a utility pole at Krusteaz Way and Frank Yost Lane.
Barnes then reportedly fled on foot but was quickly apprehended.
Barnes was taken to the hospital to be checked out before being taken to jail. A full list of his charges has not been released.
