A home on North Kentucky Avenue in Hopkinsville was severely damaged in a fire Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they were called for smoke in the area and found a home on fire at the intersection of East 1st Street.
The home is believed to be vacant and the cause of the fire is under investigation but it’s thought to be unintentional.
Rogers says there was no power in the home.
