A man was charged with damaging a hotel room and drug possession on Tilley Way in Hopkinsville Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 39-year-old Matthew Pendley was staying in a room rented by someone else and broke a mirror, but never told the hotel staff.
While talking with law enforcement, he reportedly tried to toss paper containing a crystal substance. Police say in his belongings, used and unused syringes were found, and he had prior drug possession charges.
Pendley was arrested and charged with possession of meth second offense, tampering with physical evidence, public intoxication, and first-degree criminal mischief.
