School Board Approves MLK Early Learning Center Expansion

With a generous $400,000 donation from Jennie Stuart Health, Christian County Public Schools will begin expanding the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Early Learning Center. Thursday night, the Board of Education approved the BG-1 for the project, with Dr. Jason Wilson saying the donation will make it possible.

In other business, Wilson provided the Board with a construction update.

click to download audioWilson presented four change orders totaling a net credit of almost $14,000 to the district, including electric, gas, and plumbing being run to the new greenhouse. Vice Chair, Lindsey Clark asked how much the greenhouse would cost.
