James Thomas Rickman, 80, of Louisville, passed on Monday, June 2, 2025.
James, the son of the late Howard Rickman and Lucy Watkins, was born on March 1, 1945, in Christian County.
James was a member of the U.S. Army and worked as a sales representative for the United Studio of America.
He enjoyed astronomy, star gazing, art, and playing chess.
Survivors include 1 daughter, DeAnna West; 1 son, Kevin Rickman; 1 sister, Gonza Simmons; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11:30 am at Gamble Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will begin Monday morning at 10:30.
