A Hopkinsville woman was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on West 1st Street in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say during a routine traffic stop, a passenger in the vehicle, 45-year-old Tammy Ewings, told officers she had a jar of marijuana.
After a search of her belongings more marijuana, meth, and an unknown substance were reportedly found in her belongings.
Ewings was arrested and charged with trafficking meth, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
