Bruce Wayne Jones, 72, of Hopkinsville passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Jones was born on February 3, 1953, in Hopkinsville, KY, son of the late Tom and Geneva Shaw Jones. Bruce was the owner/operator of J&J Pluming. He was a member of Little River Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry, Jimmy, Paul, Dan, Gaylon, Billy, and Johnny Jones, his sisters, Christy Mason, Pam Collins, and his twin sister, Joyce Jones.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Deborah “Debbie” Jones of Hopkinsville; his son, Jason Jones of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Amy Jones Jaynes (Gerard) of Hopkinsville; his brother, Robert Jones of Texas; his sister, Ann Riddle of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Ashley Byrns (Jamison), and Kyle Jaynes; and his great grandchildren, Adalyn Kie and Aiden Byrns.
