A wreck on Lafayette Street in Cadiz sent two people to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Cadiz Police Chief Tyler Thomas says a delivery van driven by 44-year-old Demetric Matthews of Paducah was westbound on Lafayette Street when it failed to stop for an SUV driven by 48-year-old Steve Robinson of Elkton that was northbound on Kentucky 139.
The crash caused Robinson’s SUV to overturn several times before stopping approximately 200 feet off the road. Both drivers were taken by Trigg County EMS to Trigg County Hospital for injuries.
