A Hopkinsville man was charged Wednesday afternoon after he allegedly set up a meeting with a juvenile for sexual activity on Waddell Circle in Hopkinsville.
Hopkinsville Police say on May 18th, 23-year-old Desmontrez Joshua set up a time to meet with a 13-year-old for illegal sexual activity, and the child’s father located him with the child in Joshua’s vehicle in a secluded parking lot.
Police say Joshua claimed he didn’t know the child’s age. He is charged with unlawful use of electronic means originating or received within the Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities.
