The Cadiz Rotary Club will fund training for two Trigg County Career and Technical Center students to operate the new plasma table at the school.
Career and Technical Center Principal Erin Eagleson made the request of the Cadiz Rotary Club during Tuesday’s meeting.
Eagleson said some students underwent some online training, but really need hands on training to learn to properly operate the plasma table.
He added the cost per student for the training is over $1,000.
Eagleson said the ultimate goal is to train two students that will in turn train other students at the school.
The vote to fund the training was unanimous, with Cadiz Rotarians expressing their excitement about what the training could lead to.
