Funeral Services for 96-year-old Earl Thomas Oakley of Cadiz, will be Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home. Entombment will be at a later date at the KY Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 12:00 on Tuesday at King’s Funeral Home.

Earl Thomas Oakley was born in Paducah, KY on September 10, 1928 to Thomas Kelly Oakley and Dovie Othelia Burns Oakley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Nevalene McNeill Oakley; daughter, Teresa Oakley; six sisters, Sue, Faye, Martha, Dale, Wanda, Julia Ann; four brothers, Leroy, Danny, Eugene and Edgar.
He passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home.
Earl Thomas Oakley was a retired First Sergeant from the US Army after 21 years of served and served in the Korean War. He was a heavy equipment operator and loved to fish.
