Raed Battah, 49, of Jacksonville, Florida

Raed George Battah, 49, of Jacksonville, FL and formerly of Hopkinsville, KY died Thursday, May 15, 2025 at his residence.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2025 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Reverend Father Christopher Kight and Reverend Father John M. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be said at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Raed was born November 2, 1975, in Rome, Georgia, the son of Arsha Battah of Hopkinsville, KY, and the late Dr. Emmanuel Joseph Battah. Raed and his brother, Wiam, own and operate Fast Eddy’s Quick Mideast, a restaurant located in Jacksonville, FL.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nada Battah Dionne.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his brother: Wiam (Kim) Battah of Jacksonville, FL; his nephews: William Battah and Brett Dionne; and his niece: Vivian Battah.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School Building Fund.
