A traffic stop on Madisonville Road in Christian County for an obstructed back windshield led to drug charges for two men Tuesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Joseph Parrott of Crofton, and during the stop, he could not provide a driver’s license or a valid proof of insurance.
After a search of the vehicle, deputies say suspected meth along with a glass pipe were found. Parrott’s passenger 54-year-old James Bush was reportedly found to have a pipe, suspected cocaine, suspected marijuana, and a handgun.
Bush was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine second offense, possession of marijuana, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and probation violation. Parrott was also charged with possession of meth, obstructed vision and/or windshield, license to be in possession, and failure to produce insurance card.
