Hopkinsville Annual Police Memorial Service

The public is invited to attend the City of Hopkinsville’s annual Police Memorial Service and Proclamation on Thursday, May 15 at 4:30 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Police Memorial Park, located next to the Hopkinsville Police Department at 101 North Main Street.

Held on National Peace Officers Memorial Day, this ceremony honors the memory of local law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The service will feature remarks from community leaders and a proclamation by local officials.

“From supporting the agencies that serve our citizens to honoring those who gave everything in service to our safety, these events reflect the heart of our community,” said Mayor Knight. “We encourage everyone to participate.”
