A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary after a report of an intoxicated individual knocking on doors at the Kings Court Motel Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 41-year-old Samuel Norwine had been beating on the neighbor’s door and wall and would not come out of the room to talk with officers even after being told he was being given a trespass warning for the building.
The door was reportedly pushed open, and Norwine was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree disorderly conduct, and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
