A Tennessee man has been charged after a traffic stop on Barkers Mill Road in Christian County led to a pursuit into Tennessee on April 22nd.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to get out with two vehicles parked in a tree line, and 24-year-old Donavan Ball of Woodlawn, Tennessee, jumped into the second vehicle, and they both fled towards Tennessee.
The two vehicles reportedly split from each other in Clarksville, but deputies stayed with one of them that came to a stop on Tiny Town Road near Pembroke Road.
Deputies say the driver of that vehicle, 23-year-old Jordyn Purcell of Clarksville, was arrested and charged with speeding, first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, and possession of marijuana.
The second vehicle fled into a neighborhood but the driver was reportedly identified as Ball and he was arrested on a warrant Tuesday charging him with possession of marijuana, speeding, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, disregarding a stop sign, and reckless driving.
