A report of a disturbance on Howell Street led to drug charges for a Hopkinsville man Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 49-year-old Samuel Sivils, who was told to leave but was found sleeping in the front yard.
When he got up, police say a glass pipe was found on the ground along with a bag of meth in his belongings.
Sivils reportedly tensed up when being arrested but was taken into custody on charges of possession of meth second offense, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
