A home on Jackson Court in Hopkinsville was badly damaged and one person was injured in a fire Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they were called for a house fire and found a large amount of smoke coming from the roof of the home.
A man who was inside the home was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health for possible smoke inhalation.
The family will be temporarily displaced due to the damage and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
