The Hopkinsville Rotary Club reached the halfway point of the 75th annual fundraising auction Wednesday night, with Rotarians continuing to receive strong community support.
Wednesday night, Rotarians sold 112 items to bring in $10,425 in the live auction, with the Diner and Sweet Shop bringing in $5,690, and the Hour and Goat Club netted $26,649. Wednesday night the rotary club raised a total of $42,764 to push the three night total to $250,829, which is more than $22,700 behind the three night total from 2024.
Rotarian Brandon Killebrew said they are behind in the Diner and Sweet Shop areas and encouraged everyone to come out today to enjoy a great meal.
Killebrew shared the dinner specials for the rest of the auction.
The Hopkinsville Rotary Foundation awarded its fifth and sixth grant of the week during Wednesday night’s auction.
Killebrew mentioned there are multiple ways to keep up with the final three nights of the auction.
The Hopkinsville Rotary Auction continues tonight at the Memorial Building in Hopkinsville. It is STEM Night – sponsored by Hopkinsville Electric System and energynet, Pennyrile Electric, and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
