A Hopkinsville woman was charged with forgery on Carter Road in Christian County Wednesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they got out with a parked vehicle occupied by 44-year-old Shauna Haas and a man and could smell the odor of marijuana.

She was found to have an active warrant out of Iowa along with a checkbook containing several altered checks and several pills of gabapentin, clonidine, and hydrocodone.

Deputies say suspected meth and marijuana were also found. Hass was arrested and charged with first-degree forgery, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, prescription-controlled substance not in a proper container, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and fourth-degree unlawful access to a computer.
