The Reading Project is a powerful initiative aimed at building literacy skills, instilling a love of reading, and helping young students reach their full potential – both in and out of the classroom.
The Hopkinsville Rotary Foundation awarded its fourth grant to the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School’s Interact Club as a match for their Divine Drops Water Project in Nigeria to continue to make improvements for the students there. This inspiring project aligns perfectly with Rotary’s mission of service above self and making a global impact.
Monday night Auction Chairman Landon Stallons said the Rotary Foundation awarded their first two grants of the week to the Pennyroyal Arts Council and Hopkinsville Art Guild.
And the Hopkinsville Rotary Club welcomed Planters Bank as the newest Rotary Impact Business Partner. Planters Bank has pledged $100,000 over the next 5 years to establish the Planters Bank Scholarship — a powerful investment in the future of local students and our community. This scholarship will support graduating high school seniors and current Rotary Scholars who are majoring in Business. Recipients will also have the exclusive opportunity for an internship or part-time position at Planters Bank, gaining real-world experience as they pursue their education.
