A Virginia man was charged with DUI after he hit a house on Stateline Road in Oak Grove Friday morning.
Oak Grove Police say a car driven by 20-year-old Joel Gallardo ran off the road and hit the house and a parked vehicle, pushing the vehicle several feet forward. A woman and her 6-year-old child were home at the time but were not injured in the crash.
Gallardo reportedly told police he had had a few beers, and after a field sobriety test and a breathalyzer, he was arrested and charged with DUI, first-degree criminal mischief, and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
