A Hopkinsville man has been charged in connection to a robbery near the intersection of East 7th Street and Campbell Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 53-year-old Anthony Johnson got into a fight with a man over cigarettes and cut the man with a knife on the arm.
The man was checked out by Hopkinsville EMS but did not want to be taken to the hospital.
Johnson was later arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.
