Man Charged With Drug Possession During Traffic Stop

A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs during a traffic stop on Glass Avenue in Hopkinsville Sunday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Ernest Liberty for his license plate not being illuminated after he was seen leaving a parking lot of a closed business.

During the stop, he was reportedly found to be in possession of meth.

Liberty was arrested and charged with possession of meth and rear license plate not illuminated.
