A Clarksville man was flown to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries after a crash on Casky Lane in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by Robert Cook was stopped turning onto Bill Bryan Boulevard when it was hit from behind by a truck driven by Seth Perry of Muhlenberg County.

Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says Cook was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to a waiting helicopter that flew him to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for trauma and possible spinal injuries.
