Cadiz Man Charged With DUI And Assaulting Law Enforcement

A Cadiz man was charged with assaulting a deputy and DUI after a wreck on Princeton Road in Trigg County Thursday afternoon.

Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says a truck driven by 28-year-old Alan Fox was southbound when it ran off the road and into a ditch at the intersection of Hurricane Road.

Fox suffered visible severe injuries Acree says adding he refused to go to the hospital and grabbed a deputy at the scene of the crash.

After further investigation, he was arrested and charged with DUI second offense and was taken to the hospital for medical clearance.

He is charged with DUI second offense, disorderly conduct, terroristic threatening, third-degree assault, resisting arrest, and cited for not having a seat belt.
