Earnestine “Jeanne” Stacy Lawson, 81, of Hopkinsville, died at 5:38 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Hearthstone Place in Elkton.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2024 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ron Hicks officiating. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Huntsville, AL, she was born March 25, 1943, the daughter of the late William Earnest Stacy and Odie Velma McGregor Stacy Lawrence. She worked as a surgical tech at Vanderbilt Hospital and was a member of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lawson.
Survivors include her daughters: Stacey (Tom) Buehrle of Mascoutah, IL, and Laurie (Steve) Sanford of Russellville, KY; her son: Michael (Charlie) Lawson of Roswell, NM; her brother: William “Bill” (Beverly) Stacy of Wilson County, TN; her sisters: Florene Hindman of Bradyville, TN and Brenda Kay Blackburn of Marlin, TX; her grandchildren: Brion McKenzie, Matt McKenzie, Tommy Buehrle, Gretchen Buehrle (Luke) Figgins, Peter Buehrle, Alex Lawson, and Foxx Lawson; and three great-grandchildren.
