“Carryin’ on the Tradition XI” Quilt Exhibit

The Glema Mahr Center for the Arts “Carryin’ on the Tradition XI” quilt exhibit will be on display in the Anne P. Baker Gallery until September 3, 2021. This is the eleventh show by the Piecemakers Quilt Club of Hopkins County and will feature a variety of special projects including: Quilts of Valor, Build-a-Bed, Black and White Plus One, a Block of the Month, and a Baby Quilt section showcasing the continuing service project of providing quilts to the Baptist Health NICU. Additionally, the exhibit will include quilts and items made by members of the Piecemakers Quilt Club. Approximately 100 pieces of work will be on display. Their shows over the years have demonstrated the evolution in quilting showing artistic growth and development of the craft.
An opening reception will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 2:00-3:30pm.
