Michael Dewayne Rawlins, 69, of Hopkinsville, passed away on March 26, 2026.
Michael was born March 3, 1957, in Pembroke, Kentucky, to the late Cleo Rawlins Terry. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, William Terry.
Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he dedicated 20 years of honorable service. Following his military career, he worked for 15 years at the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex.
During retirement, Michael enjoyed taking early morning walks, fishing, and spending time talking with family members and friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Thomas Rawlins, Peggy Lane, Vanessa Manning, Susie Wilford, and Cheryl Jones; one uncle, Clyde Rawlins; one aunt, Francis Myers; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
