Trigg Ham Fest Committee Hosting T-Shirt Design Contest

The Trigg County Country Ham Festival has launched a t-shirt contest to allow the community a chance to be a part of the 50th anniversary of the fall festival.

Committee Chair Beth Sumner told Your News Edge that submissions are being accepted through Monday, April 6th.

Sumner added that designs submitted can only have up to four colors, artwork should be suitable for screen printing, and it must be family-friendly.

While you can come up with your own tagline for the shirt, there are two that are suggested from the committee. The first, ‘Small Town Pig Heart,’ the other, ‘Still Smokin’ at 50.’

To commemorate its 50th anniversary, the festival committee is releasing two limited-edition t-shirts. One will be available exclusively via pre-order, while the other can be purchased at local businesses or at the festival’s information booth.

Winners of the contest will receive a $100 prize, two free festival t-shirts, and recognition on the festival’s Facebook page and during the festival.
