Authorities are investigating a house fire on Greenville Road, near Jago Road, in Hopkinsville on Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they were called by a passerby about smoke coming from the home and found a fire in the living room and attic.
Rogers says the fire caused significant damage to the structure and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Hopkinsville Police say they have one person of interest they are talking with but no charges have been filed.
