Kent Deloy Roberts, 80, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, died at 6:20 a.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2025, at Liberty Christian Church with Rev. Paul Ganther and Rev. Rachel Ganther officiating. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Milaca, Minnesota, he was born on November 26, 1945, the son of the late Raymond William Roberts and Esther Mae Giles Roberts. He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Clifton Roberts, in 2019, and his sisters, Lois Elaine Winter and Marvel Mae Trunk.
He was a maintenance technician for C & L Rentals and had previously worked at Thomas Industries and Woolworth Department Store. He was a member of Liberty Christian Church, Rock Steady Boxing, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Hopkinsville Community College, and was a local Pin and Ink artist and a Vietnam Era veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Roberts of Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Kent D. Roberts, II of Hopkinsville, KY, and his brothers, Duane Roberts and Ronald Gary Roberts, both of Minnesota.
