A man was taken into custody after a hit-and-run crash on East 7th Street in Hopkinsville on Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say at 9:11 pm, an SUV hit another SUV, then fled, hitting a utility pole, breaking the pole in half, before traveling a short distance down East 7th Street and parking in a yard.
The driver reportedly fled inside but was located by law enforcement and taken into custody.
Police say the driver was taken to the hospital to be checked out; his name, along with a list of his charges, has not been released.
