Michael Dwayne “Mike” Kellum, age 63, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at his home.
He was born on June 19, 1962, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Harley Kellum and Maxine Hunt Williams, who both preceded him in death.
Mike married the love of his life, Marcia Cobb Kellum, on December 22, 1979. He worked as a safety project manager at BSI Services in Mountain View, Wyoming, for many years. He was a member of Kelly Christian Church.

As a grandfather, he reveled in being “Papaw”, never missing an opportunity to attend the games and school activities of his grandchildren, always cheering them on with great enthusiasm. Each grandchild held a special place in his heart, and he took delight in giving them unique nicknames that reflected their personalities.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, twins Jerry & Jimmy Kellum, Doug, Larry, and Terry Kellum.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Marcia Cobb Kellum, of Hopkinsville; his children, Timothy Shane Kellum, of Clarksville, TN, Stephen Alan Kellum (Brandie), of Hopkinsville, and Amanda Michelle Wise (Adam), of Herriman, UT; his grandchildren, Jamesson “Duck” Kellum, Broden “Tank” Kellum, Keagon “Squeaks” Wise, Xavier “X-Man” Kellum, Jayden “Goonie” Kellum, and Darby “Wookie” Wise; his stepfather, James Williams (Celeste), of Hopkinsville; and his brothers, Ronnie Kellum (Teresa), of Mountain View, WY, Berry Kellum (Karen), of Monroe, LA, and Michael Williams (Chelsea), of Cadiz, KY.
